Lisa- It's always nice to know I'm not the only one with a super early bird ;)  Does your DD wake up happy when she gets up so early?  I, too, will be glad to be done with naps.  She seems to need so much daytime sleep and is so finicky about when and how she'll take it.

MamaGleixner-  Hopefully it will just be the teeth in the end.

Our 3rd night of w2s was a bust.  When I woke her at 3:30 she had a poopy diaper which is very unusual (normally poops in the potty and never at night).  Cleaning it was a bit of a mess b/c I didn't know I was dealing with poop at first (it was dark) so I really woke her and she tried to sleep but then was up 4-4:30 then back down for an hour.  Argh.

She wakes up tired really I think but she is happy as larry when you get her up!!  Little madam - yes its nice to know we are not alone!  Today though I heard her at 4am and then she went back off until 5.20 so a really good day for us.

I checked on her at 3:15 (I woke up... guess my body has adjusted ::) ) and she appeared cold so I put a blanket on her but didn't really wake her and we slept until 5:15am!!!  Wow do I feel rested :)

Crazy isn't it when you are so pleased and think its good when they sleep til 5ish!!  Most people would be complaining about EW - I have seen people saying that 6am is EW and I just think I would kill for a regular time of 6am.

We did 2 naps again today - has gone OK, went to sleep for both without any trouble so thats a relief.

Lets hope tonight is a good one for all of us.

Yes I just about die when I read about people wanting to extend their "EW" of 6am... I don't even know what I'd do if she slept until then.  Perhaps check on her to make sure she's alive?!

I'm saying the same thing for the mums that are complaining about 7am wake time. It is almost midnight here and I'm still working and has to work for a couple of more hours. WIth this workload in business, 6am is very early for me. I have already entered a new topic about our night wakings. Therefore wont' hijack this thread ;-)

Deb - just wondering how things are for you, any improvements?

Today not good for us as she woke at 4.15 and then dozed on and off til 5am, but I didn't go back off cos kept hearing her.  However, yesterday she woke 4.40am and then dozed til 5, then awake til 5.35 but happy in there and then slept 5.35-6.30!!!  That was unheard of but was a real treat to be in bed so long (although dd1 woke at 6.15).  But this meant had to do only 1 nap which was OK but not long enough and I guess OT and early bedtime helped with the 4.15 wake up time.  REally feel tired today, I find that i can be ok for a few days and then it will really hit me and I feel so 'hungover' all day long.  I hate having to go to bed by 9.30 each night - I have no social life these days as too tired.  How about you, do you have to have early nights to cope with the early starts?

Lisa- that really hits home about no social life... I hate my early nights as well.  Right now we have company and things are HORRIBLE!!  She fought me for an hour for her pm nap yesterday.  She never fights naps :(  then we had several NWs and an EW thanks to something falling off of her wall (I have these letter cards that are attached with that blue puddy stuff).  I am so 'hungover' today.  Must go nap.  Hoping that things get better after the company leaves.

You poor thing...even worse night than us - at least we had no real NW - hope you get a much better night tonight.

Grace also didn't want to take a 2nd nap today (they have been going really well since we went back to them) but she cried a lot before going off and whenever she does that she only ever sleeps 30 mins maximum so she will be up in a foul mood very soon....happy days!!!!!!!!!!
