Ooooof.  A HUGE NW at 2:50AM, Bear got himself back down but I didn't.

Hmmmmmmmmm.

Meanwhile, DH is snoring so loud the walls are shaking.  ::)  Lucky bugger.

6am!!!!!   ;D  (who does he think he is, Rip Van Winkle?)

(did you like the suspense!!)

That's almost 12 hours later!!  SO, nap 12-1:30pm, asleep by 6:15pm and a 12 hour night-a-roo!!!

 ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Wish they had as happy as a pig in s**t icon!!!!!!  8)

Pretty grouchy this am, so we popped him the crib at 8:40am (not thinking he'd go down, but to give him some down time), he sang all the songs he knew times 3.  ;D

Out at 10am, then he was pretty wonderful so:

into crib at 11:40 and asleep by 11:45am!! (hope that was a good idea)

Is my boy on his way back to SEMI-normalcy??

I know not to get my hopes up with this guy.  ;)

Hey is there day three regression at this age, too, or no?

So, perhaps all of our BW heads TOGETHER can outsmart the craftiest 18 month old I know!!  Ho ho ho.
I may keep him.

I don't want anything for mother's day but my rocket scientist of a son!!!!!  :D :D :D

OK, a mimosa in bed wouldn't suck.

Have a good day at work, KAT!!!!

DEBS, Thanks for checking in and all your kind words.  :-*
and happy early mother's day to SIRIA (thread starter  :)), LAYLA, DEBS, KATAKINS, and STACEY  :-*!!!

Hey Annie, that's brilliant news. I have been thinking about you guys and your struggles. Let's hope you've turned the corner. No idea about regression sorry...

We're all good thx. You seen my news on Pasha's sleeps yet ?

Bubba's back to normal too. Not really sure what exactly was wrong. Teething/touch of SA (with DH not me!) maybe, who knows.

Hang in there.

Yay yay yay!  SO good to hear, Annie!!  Yes there can be regression, as it takes 3-5 days to adjust to a new routine, but hopefully this is the answer and we can get him figured out!  (I say we, when really it was Stacy... ;))

How long was nap?

I'm at work, gonna go post on Cribside will you come read it??

Yes, DEBS, I have read about Pasha and have a "CS" post almost ready to go!!!  As far as her sleeps, I think:  ummmmm,

YOU ROCK MY WORLD and I am SO INCREDIBLY PROUD OF HOW FAR YOU HAVE COME WITH HER!!!!!!!  You AMAZE ME!!!!!! Please give her an extra special cuddle from her auntie in Joisey. (dab a little smog behind each ear, to make it authentique!!)...... :-*

KAT, Of course I keep up with ALL of you on CS!!  I would never not read!!!!  Now go read MY post!

STACY, Thank you thank you!!  It's funny, it's like you know me a little bit....it would be JUST like me a few months back to get all foggy headed and be SURE he is already ready for a later bedtime, being he woke from his nap at 2pm!! (2 hours and 10 minutes ;D)  But I had him in the crib before 6pm again.   8)  This said, as KAT and DEBS know well, this boy will throw many curve balls my way.  I may just have 59 NW's and an EW thrown in for good measure.  You know.  He likes to keep me on my toes!

Now it's listen to him go down his repertoire of songs and listen to 18 encore performances of Twinkle Twinkle!  ::) and  ;D..........

Hey all, Happy Mother's Day!!!!  (at least in the ol' U.S. of A.)

Stacy we're in the same boat with singing 1-2hrs at night, depending on when I put her down.  honestly I put her down more when I'M ready than when she is, LOL!

Crazy day at work, just checking in, back to work again tomorrow...just eagerly waiting to see how your night went, Annie!  How long til he stopped singing?  I'll see ya ~9am your time (when I'm wiping the bleary sleep from my eyes trying to brew my coffee ;) before work) to see what your wake time was, too...can't wait!  8)

He sang for almost an hour, KAT, fell asleep at 6:55pm :-\, and woke at 5:15 (DH's morning on, tho, but I'm still awake listening :P )

That's another day this week with less than total of 13 hours sleep (12 and 45minutes).  He sounds grouchy again this am and I'm positive we had a few short nw's thrown in there last night (not screamy ones tho), so yesterday's long sleeps was probably him trying to catch up and then I guess I didn't get him in the crib in time.... :(  oh well.

Last night we were at the park with my mom (20 minutes from home) for mothers day ( a day early celebration-her request) after an early dinner (my request), and he melted down at 5pm and I thought "Uh-Oh" we'll never get him home and down in time, so 5:55 into crib wasn't the worst I could have done (I didn't even feed him dinner, he had a small snack in the car, no bath, just 3 books and slam-dunk), but tonite I'll know better.

Too bad, 'cause tonight we have a BBQ that I was DYING to go to. I'm so sick of having to cancel plans, and/or leave places 20 minutes after I get there, but hey, what are ya gonna do?

Maybe tonight will go better!  I guess depending on his nap, I'll make sure I have him in the crib no later than 5:30, right?  Which means even if he does an 11 and 1/2 hour night, his wake will be 5am.....

Oh whatever already.  ::)

Have a grat Mom's day guys!!

And hahaha Stacy, My son will be in his crib, with blackout blinds, and a rain machine until he's 17  ;D !!  I'm in no rush.  He's off paci's and bottles, he's feeding himself, I'm in no rush to fix something either that ain't broke!  It's the dreaded potty training I'm not ready for........

I guess I could calm down a little about the singing in the crib if I hadn't heard so much that they can sing themsleves from tired into OT (what's your take on this, STACY?).  If I knew he wasn't doing that (and how will I ever really know, ya know?), then I could probably chill out more.

But like last night, I'm listening to him try to go down and try to go down and I'm thinking, "7pm is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to late for him to fall asleep after the week he's had."  I really knew in my heart this wasn't his way of saying "mommy, I'm not tired yet!"  And look, his wake up time answers my question.  So it's still hard for me for now.  But 'm working hard on getting better!  ::)

This said, you are right, it's MUCH easier to listen to singing than sobbing, so I am counting my blessings on this second mother's day for me!!

Annie just keep on keeping on!!!  He is not going to magically presto chango on the first day and turn angel on you (oh how I wish!)...he's got some more catching up to do even though you've had some great days...so give him a bit of time to settle in to your new tricks...any way you can go separately to the bbq and have DH take Bear home?  Just a thought...

Also I'd be careful with skipping dinner, a 5am wake can also mean he's just hungry!!  B will wake at 5am if she didn't eat well the day before...

Off to work...Happy Mother's Day!!!!!!!!

I hear ya about the eating, but he ate like a piggy-poo at 3:30pm, and I gave him a snack in the car, so I don't think he was starving.

He didn't act hungry until almost 7am, so I think it was ok.  But who knows??   :)

So far, not so hot of a morning, I'm beat, and he's sobbing in the crib.  Glad I had yesterday.  :)

You know how it is being a mom, at the BBQ, no one wants to see me, they just want to see Baby William! ;), we'll probably just make a cameo.  8)

Oh gosh, what do I do? He fell asleep at 9:50am.

Twenty or thirty?

Hmmmmmmmmm.

Then what time for second nap, you all remember what a disaster this was last time.  :P

OK, last time he slept 10:10-10:30,  he bucked that second nap and I pulled him out of the crib at 2:40 I think.

So, for a wake at 10:20, try for 2pm nap??  Maybe he'll sing for a bit and then go down?

Then do I wake him or let him sleep??   ???  All these questions!!

Then what bedtime?

Signing off,
Nervous Nelly.  ::)
