I don't have a thank you under my name!!!

Sorry it may seem like a silly question but how do I get a thank you under my name?

I think I understand how showing appreciation works but how can it work when there is not a thank you there?

You can't thank yourself so therefore you don't have a "thank you" under your name. You might have not been "thanked"  in the past so therefore the is no numbers with "showing appreciation".

I have given you a "thankyou"... so from now on you should have "showing appreciation 1"

You click "thankyou" on whoever it is you want to thank.
