I spoke to soon. Last night he was awake more than he was asleep and today he is as grumpy as anything and is asking for a bf every hour. Not sure weather to give in or to keep going like I am now and just tell him no mar-mar cuddle

I don't think he would need to feed that often so stick to your guns and just offer as normal, im sure it will pass.

Sending some hugs you must be knakered today!!!

Hi Kate I have been knacked for the past 3 days as he will not settle in his cot and his dad has been ill with the summer flu so I have been doing all the things he normally does as I have made him say in bed as every-time he moved he went dizzy and almost fell. It has been like I have been looking after 2 babies and 2 children for the past 3 days. Thankfully DH seems a lot better today, that much better he has gone out with 2 of his mates but I have told them to keep an eye on him as he is recovering from the flu which has made them laugh as they can not believe I am letting him out. I toldthem it is his job to decide weather his is well enought to go out and support another mate on one of his bands important nights not mine. He is also the bands good luck charm as when he is there supporting them they play really well but when he is not there they mess the gig up. Anyway Edward is down and asleep at the moment so I am catching up with BW and seeing if I can give anyone support and advices but thought I would just up-date you here.

I TRY TO HELP AS MANY PEOPLE AS POSSIBLE IN THE BREAST FEEDING SECTION AND I CHECK ALL THE OTHER POSTS AS WELL. SORRY IF THIS IS NOT MUCH HELP BUT I HAVE LOST TRACK OF ALL THE POSTS I HAVE MADE RESENTLY. ANYWAY DH IS MUCH BETTER AND EDWARD IS NOW SLEEPING THROUGH THE NIGHT AGAIN BUT IS ONLY SLEEPING IN A VEST AND NAPPY BECAUSE OF HOW HOT IT HAS BEEN RESENTLY. HOW ARE YOUR 3 COPING WITH THE HEAT. MY DS#1 IS HAVING PROBLEMS WITH HIS ASTHMA, HEAT ALWAYS AFFECTS HIM, MY DAUGHTER IS IN A RIGHT MOOD AS SHE HATES BEING HOT AND EDWARD IS THE MOST CARMEST ONE OUT OF THE 3 OF THEM HE IS JUST GETTING ON WITH IT LIKE THE HEAT IS NOTHING

Another quick up-date and moan about my Little Edward. He is now 10.5 months old and was doing really well until last week when he took ill and the only thing he was keeping down was breast-milk so because of this I went bac to feeding him on demand so that I know he was getting calories from somewhere. He is now better and I want to get him back to the 4 feeds a day instead of both sides every 2 hours and he is hating going back to the 4 feeds a day that much that he is still awake playing at the side of me after having his df for a whole hour but he is just refusing to go to sleep unless he is on the breast and I can not get DH to sort out getting him to sleep as he is already a sleep and the crying was waking my DS#1 up so I have decided to let him play for a bit longer and hopefully will go to sleep. So I am back to square 1 were I was when I started this thread and I feel so terrible for letting it go back to that but I know under the serumstansers I did the right thing for him but it was just inconvenient for me as I am so exhursted I had no energy to do any house work today so I have a sink full of pots and a washer full of dirty clothes whating to be washed and a load of dusting, ironing and folding to be done which I am going to have to do tomorrow even if I do not have the energy to do it. Why do our LO's have to get ill? I hate it when they are ill and all 3 of them and DH were ill at the same time so I was running around after all 4 of them.
