my dd HATES THE CAR ... help!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nelsmc, we just got a dvd player for the car too and in 19 months it is the first time we can drive over ½ an hour before the tantrums start! If only we knew it would work befor we would have invested ages ago! Now we are going to get some new exciting dvds and hope she will be entertained even longer

When he was about 2 months old, I put in a DVD player and play Baby Einstein.  The difference was amazing!! 

We use this for our 2yo, which had been our lifesaver for long trips, I just thought my 3mo was too young ... I'm going to try it tomorrow with our baby einstein dvds ... wish me luck!!

How's it going Proudmum? We have found the dvd player fantastic, a one hour trip yesterday with no fussing

Hi Skatty,

Had to do a 1 hour round trip yesterday, tried the DVD player and she didn't like it!!  I was so disappointed because I really thought it would work. 
Things are slowly improving though, now she is happy for about 15-20 min in the car, so my radius of travel has expanded!  So to me that would seem to rule out motion sickness, I think she just feels isolated.

THrilled for you that you managed an hour trip ... I'm still dreaming of that day!!
