Hi, I agree with Kate. Can't see why not.
It's recommend that babies get either breast milk or formula until 1 year of age. Though, depending on where you are, this can vary greatly from culture to culture.
Usually at 1 year I'd say most babies have at least 4 feeds a day. A first thing in the morning feed, an after 1st nap feed, after 2nd nap feed and then finally a bedtime feed. Once a baby turns 1, and if you are wanting/needing to wean from the breast, you'll probably want to wean 1 feed at a time starting with whatever is more convenient for you or which feed your baby is least interested in. Wait a week and then start with the next feed.
The mid day feeds will probably be replaced by a snack, probably with some dairy in there in the form of milk, cheese or yogurt.
Whether you give the milk in a bottle in a sippy cup is personal preference. It sounds like your lo will do great to just move to a sippy cup and then it helps you not to have to wean from the bottle later. If you plan to go to cows milk you may want to offer some now to get your lo used to the taste. It took a while before my lo would do anything other than spit it out but now he loves it and I think our weaning will go a bit smoother because of it.
