« on: May 27, 2008, 18:32:40 pm »
Hi, I was just wondering how I can change my display picture. I 'm having trouble figuring it out. I'm sure it's very simple and i'm just looking over something. Thanks for your help...Jill ;D

Hiya :)

If you click on 'profile', then select forum profile information (or something similar) you will see the option for your display picture.  You then click on 'i have my own pic', and 'browse' to select it from your PC

Look forward to seeing the new one.  Although the one you have now is gorgeous!

It must be that your pic is too big . If you post the pic you want I can try resizing it for you

Do you have pix resizer?  If you google it, you can download it quickly for free and then you can VERY EASILY resize with that.

Do you have Paint?? Easiest way to resize quickly is to open the pic in paint (right click, go to "open with" and select Paint  :P ), then click on "Image" on the toolbar at the top, go to "stretch/skew", and there are two boxes with 100% in them....change both to 30% a voila your pic is smaller!! Save it with a different name so you know which one is which  ;D

OH. MY. GOD.

I re-sized it, thanks for the lesson in re-sizing!!!!!  So now it's way smaller, all the other pics in that file are the same (full screen size) but the one I chose is smaller.  So when I try to put it up, I click the pic, and that makes the whole window disappear!!!! I tried dragging it down, but that doesn't work either.  I have no idea why I can't do this!!!!!!!!!   >:(
