Distracted when Breast Feeding

I have a 7 month DS whom I have gotten into all kinds of accidental parenting habits. I figured I would start to fix them by getting him onto the EASY routine. He is fine with it when eating his solids, but when it comes to nursing, it is a mess. He will get a good feed if he is settling down and falling asleep (AC at its finest!), but if he is awake, anything makes him pull off. He won't stay on more then a minute without popping off and checking out where ever we are. I have tried taking him to different quite places to no avail. Any suggestions about keeping him on once he is there?

I found a nursing necklace very helpful. Several companies sell them on ebay and you can even personalize them. Or people sometimes go the other way and feed in a darkened room even during the day.

I found feeding in a dark quiet room helps a lot.  The neckkace didn't work for us as he would be too interested with it.
