What is a sticky post?
« on: June 10, 2008, 05:53:58 am »
Can someone tell me what it means to make a post a 'sticky post'.
I've had a look around the website and cant find an explanation.  I'm sure there is one and I'm just not looking properly.

Thanks.

HEY! It's a topic that has been pinned (if you spell it that way) with a VIRTUAL push pin to the top of the page so it doesn't move down over time. Usually a topic of interest to many BWers..

(At least that's what I think it means...lol)

That's right. They stay at the top of the board and have a pin on the left hand side and are in darker font. They don't move down the board even if people haven't posted in a while. Also used for notices.
