Sleep training after illness - sigh!
« on: June 13, 2008, 07:35:59 am »
Hi girls,

Well DS's sleep is all over the place after 10 days of a mysterious high temperature ::)
He hasn't had a temperature now for 3 days - so now it's time to sleep train as he's waking all night :'(

Luckily for me, I finished school today for the summer so at least it won't matter if I'm like a zombie at home and I will be able to nap when he does ;)

Just wanted a bit of encouragement and sympathy from all you lovely ladies ;D

Lis and that little monkey, Nicholas

Hey Lis..... sorry to hear you have to do this all over again :(.

Are you going to do the wi/wo method again? Hope DH will help you out  :-*

Let me know how things are going :)

Yes, going start tonight with WI/WO ::)

He went to bed ok last night (he'd only had 50 min nap), but woke at least 4 times and I was so tired, I brought him in our bed :(
At one point, he said, "Mummy, mummy, fly in Nicholas's bed!" I'm guessing it was a mosquito???? ::)
I also suspect he's OT, so will try an early BT tonight too.

Wish me luck - I think I'm going to need it :-\

Good luck hon... its hard.. i know. For the last 2 months Isabella has been ill too (on and off) and just as things were getting slightely better, she woke up yesterday morning at 4:30am with a blocked nose. So... we're doing very early bedtimes here too.

I've had a good idea Layla!

Now I've finished work, I'll come over and stay with you and we can do a bit of WI/WO together (we'll shove Nicholas in Isabella's room) ;D
If only I could afford the air-fare..........

I just hope I sort the sleeping out before I go to England - cos it will be a nightmare otherwise :'(

Lis
