This may seem drastic, but when I DS is due for a sleep and I can't keep him awake in the car, when we get home I grab the whole car seat out (yes, it's a mission!) and I let him sleep in there until he's ready to wake up. If he's already in a deep sleep, I can loosen the straps enough to take him out easily, and I put him straight over my shoulder and pat and whisper to him while I take him inside to bed. This has a 50/50 success rate though.
My DS is going to bed at 7, sleeping for an hour then waking and not going back to bed until 10:30-11:00.

It's drinking me insane, so that's the first thing we will be tackling as soon as we're both better!
How did you go last night?
dsokos - congrats on your naps!
