Hi all

For the last week we have been doing much better, moved to a 3.5 to 4 hour easy, and napping has improved (yippee!!). My question is this - she has a bath around 6.45 and bf about 7.15, she now wakes around 3am for nf, but is up (up up up) around 5am. I feed her around 6am and she sleeps until 7.30, then up till 8.30 and sleep until 10am.

Would you feed at 5am and then not again until 9, or would you feed at 5am resettle her, and then again around 7.30/8?

Do I ignore the time of the night feeds when it comes to the first feed of the day?

I sometimes have this problem at the end of the day also - she might take a late nap instead of a cat nap and not feed until 6 - do I still do bath and then bf at 7.15?

Angela

I can't tell you what's "right" but just what we do.

In the mornings I feed when dd wakes at around 5 'cause I just can't face a fight at that time of day, or risking her thinking that it's time to get up. This means she has no interest in a 7am feed, but will eat at around 8.

Come evening time it works out that she wants to eat at around 5 or 6 depending on how our day has worked out. I do this and then top her up right before bed.

You know what? You posted this at 9 this morning and I'm the first to answer 12 hours later, I'm going to move it over to the EASY forum where I think you might get a better answer.
