Yes she is feeding normally from that side. In fact it is the side that has a lot of milk compared to only a bit in the other side. Could that be the issue?

Sometimes excess supply can make a mum more prone to blocked ducts. Really no lumps or hard bits?

If that side is the better producer it could be that you have more powerful letdown and that this is letdown pain. For some women letdown is more than a tingle but it really hurts as the ducts get stretched. Is she really gulping just after the pain? I saw a mum at a drop-in this week with incredibly painful letdown. But it's not something that usually comes on at this point. Could supply have recently increased on that side for some reason?
Failing that -and failing the yellow blob being removeable - I think it's probably worth a trip to the doctor. Boring I know.

It's not the same feeling as I used to have with letdown. Could the feeling change? I've got no idea why the milk has increased. One side has got better and the other has got worse. It's weird. But I have been getting the odd pain just randomly through the day now :-\

As for gulping, I'm not sure. She's feeding now and isn't gulping really. But it hurt alot when she started and got better as she fed. I'm just a tad confused by it. If it was a latch problem I'd have thought it would have caused sore and cracked nipples :-\

I just ask about the gulping as if it WAS down to painful letdown (as perhaps your supply had increased significantly on that side) you would probably see others effects of an overactive letdown - like her gulping and bobbing on and off and spraying. When you notice odd random pain you would also see a letdown/ leaking at that time.
I don't think it would be latch because as you say you'd see the effects on your nipples and areola.

It might be you had a bump and had some internal injury - like a bruise anywhere else - which hopefully will get better. Just not sure how the yellow blob relates though.

Nope, never get any spraying. In fac I don't think I leak really that much anymore. Occasionally overnight but that's it. Well, I'll see how it goes for a few days and if it doesn't get better I might pop to the Dr's. Thankyou hun
