Yesterday Joan had stomach flu she had diarrhoea the entire day too many times that I've lost count of the times I changed her diaper.

Poor Joan she was waking up several times at night to feed and after her feed she had diarrhoea again. I think I only caught 4 hours of sleep all in all. Her fever when up to 39.1 I was so scared and kept praying that everything would be ok.

She woke up at 6am this morning shivering but her body was very hot, I am so glad that DH was beside me helping me out sponging her I think I wouldn't have managed without him.

Hope that she will get well by tomorrow if not we have to bring her to the hospital ...I am so worried this is the first time her fever is so serious . . .
I will try my very best to do every little thing with great love . . .

Oh no!  I hope she's better today.  Do take her to the hospital if her temperature is not falling or if there is any sign of a rash.

Hi Joan's better now but she's still having diarrhoea. . . we are not sure the cause of it.

I'm back to square one Bf at night  ( finally down to one feed, those few nights when her fever was very high I was BF at least 3 times in the wee hours)  . . . I will try to cut that night feed when she's well

One thing that I'm happy about is that she sleeps by herself even when she's not feeling well :). . . sometimes she needs a long cuddle before sleeping but most of the time she just needs her lovey. It's so wonderful that she's such an independent sleeper :) was a bit worried that I have to go through the terrible PU/PD days . . . now I know it's definitely history . . . Hooray :)

Glad to hear she's feeling better and that she's such a good sleeper.  All that hard work was worth it!! :)

Hi Claires mum,

How are you? I miss you :) . . . it has been a while . . . Hope everything is fine :)

Joan just recovered last week from her diarrhoea it was semolina . . . the diarrhoea lasted more than a month. I suspect that she might have gotten it from my friend who didn't clean her hands when she went to the toilet and fed Joan some biscuits.

It was a crazy month . . . now Joan still wakes up in the middle of the night for feeds, recently when I try offering her water she would be really angry and start screaming and throwing her bottle on the floor.

Just two nights ago she didn't sleep from 2am to 6am demanding to feed very hour do you think it is Grow Spurt?

Will update you again . . . Christmas is approaching . . . it is a busy time for me . . . is it a busy time for you too?

I will try my very best to do every little thing with great love . . .

Hey there....yes I've missed you too!

That bug sounds just awful.  Claire has just got a bug herself now too.  I'm wondering if it could be salmonella .... went to a Xmas party and there was a dog that kept licking Claire.  I hope I don't have a month of diarrhoea to deal with.

Xmas is going to be hectic for us too...and very hot!

It sounds like Joan maybe falling back to old habits and want a feed at night. OR..it could be that she's lost weight with her illness and needs to catch up.  I do hope you get back on track soon. You must be exhausted!!!

Christmas is a busy time for me . . . I'm the designated baker, so lots of baking stuff to do like cup cakes, fruit cake, chocolate cake and meringues . . . I think after all that baking I won't be missing baking for long time :)

Oh dear hope that Claire doesn't have that terrible salmonella bug. . .

I fed Joan a lot of food the entire day today . . . so if she wakes up again means it's a habit. . .

Will talk to you again :)
