My son will be 11 months this friday and we are at a loss when it comes to fun things to do.  Any tips would be great.

can he walk at all?  or this could work with a crawler.  get a small light ball and play football/soccer with it.  set up a climbing obstacle course with pillows on the floor.  play hide and seek with toys in places around the room.  building things with blocks.

My son really got into cars/trucks at at that age and still loves them at 13 months. When he was crawling he would crawl around pushing them around...and one of the few words he has now is vrrroooom! He also liked to roll balls around, push his walker, look at books, dig in the kitchen cupboard full of tupperware, and play with anything from the kitchen! (measuring cups, spoons, etc.)

I crawl around with my DS and when he crawls toward me I do a fake scream and "run" a short distance away, he thinks it is hilarious.

we also play on the trampoline, and the swingset (baby swing), cars, blocks, wooden puzzles, books, duplo, drawing on a chalk board, I let him paint too, and play playdo

I think this is an age where toys aren't so interesting and exploring is the most fun! I made sure that DD could explore anything within her reach and would let her loose on most of our rooms, I would also fill bags with fun stuff and leave them for her to find thinking she was rifling through someone's handbag, this still works lol!!

previous post mentioned it but my LO likes to open drawers in the kitchen....I have given over one of the lower drawers to tupperware and other safe plastic stuff and he loooooves to mess around with that....

his other favourite thing is knocking down stacks of blocks that I place strategically in corners of the room and he also likes putting things in and out of containers....normally I have to get him going on these activities and then he will keep at it on his own for a good while.

I also line up all the chairs in the kitchen and he cruises from one chair to the other to get a toy from the far away chair...

I think these are all ideas I got from various BW pages you know but I couldn't tell you exactly where from!!!
