Hypoallergenic Formula question

My dd is almost 6 months old and was 9lbs 3 ounces at birth. She has always been a big eater. We have been on Alimentum since she was 2 weeks old. The pedi said we can try to wean her at 6 months.

My question is do you think Alimentum keeps them as full as regular formula. It is so broken down that I wander if there is a difference? She is eating over 32 ounces and 8 tablespoons of rice cereal, and 2 ounces of vegies a day. She still will wake around 4am a couple days a week hungry.

Their is a big growth spurt at 6months do you think it could be that?
How many bottles is she having?

I agree with Natasha, could very well be the 6 month growth spurt lurking.

Can you post your routine on how many bottles and oz she has a day as well as solids, so we can have a look at it.

7 am-7ounce bottle
8:30-4tbl rice cereal
11-2 1/2 ounces vegie and 7 ounce bottle
3-7 ounce bottle
6-4tbl rice cereal
7:00-7 ounce bottle
DF-4-6 ounce bottle

The reason I wander is because she will sleep all night then wake the next night at 4:30 am hungry. She gets an extra 5 ounce bottle at that time. It seems like she needs extra every couple days. She has been doing this for a month.
She is on a 4 hour EASY and sleeps great during the day.

Will she take anymore in her bottles? Could you up them to 8ozs?

I give her as much as she will take every day. It is a constant battle so I can sleep through the night.
