I was just wondering if there was a connection between being a spirited baby and hateing the car seat and stroller or anything that restricts exploration.

Well Leorah is spirited and hates those things and more or less always has! It is that bad that we have decided not to do any more aeroplane trips until it gets better or she has more understanding! Things that help us are sing along cds or a dvd player in the car and as little time in the pushchair as possible and give her snacks. I don't know how old your baby is but things got better in the pushchair when we sat her up and better in the car seat when she was facing forward  :)

Oh I can see now he is getting on for a year, things went through a really bad stage then as she just wanted to be free and exploring, we then hit another low patch when she started walking  :P
