When do they start to drop the catnap
« on: August 13, 2008, 07:50:46 am »
My LO is 6 months old and I just wanted to know when he may start to drop the catnap - I know they do it in their own time but just wanted to know what others found.

Thanks in advance.

When they either:

start refusing it
they start to extend awake time and their is no time to fit it in
you start having NWing or EWings.

The average age is anywhere between 6-8months however some do it earlier (like my 2) and some later.

A general guide is when your LO can handle 3 hrs of A time, they are ready to drop the catnap.
