once our bubs are on 3 solid meals a day, EASY gets a bit off - so you may want to check out some other EASY routines here:  http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=10386.0

I think my dd's routine was a bit like this at 8 mos:

7:30 - wake and bf
8:30 - breakfast
11:00/11:30 - bf (before her nap, just made sure I did feed to sleep)
12:30/1 - wake and lunch
4ish - bf (again, before her nap, and this one was usually a catnap)
6:00 - dinner (I always made sure she was up no later than 5)
7:30 - bf and bedtime

Then, as her A time got even longer, I dropped the 4ish bf and replaced it with a snack either before or after her nap.  When she hit 10 mos, we started the 2 to 1 switch, so that am nap got pushed further out, and the pm nap got shorter.  Then then pre-nap bf turned into a snack around a year, and the other 2 she gave up over the next 4 mos (I was sad to see them go)  This is also the time when things for Abby suddenly switched and her morning A time became her longest of the day (which made it easy to navigate the 2 to 1 switch) - but that may not be the case for your dd, so that first nap will be earlier - and you can then either feed her before or after.  For awhile, I was splitting that feed - one boob before the nap, 1 boob when she woke, and that worked too.

Michelle, your schedule is very similar to ours..except our day is about 13.5 hours on two nap days , last nap ends around 515ish and bedtime is 830 with no issues. I noticed you said the first A time is the longest and it helps with the transition to one nap..I just started to notice this with my LO, he is 9 months now..and the morning A time has been anywhere from 4 -4.5 hours followed by a slightly shorter one 3.5-4 hours and then the shortest at the end of the day..is this normal/common?

I don't know if it's common or not :)  It made my life much easier to navigate the transition to 1 nap, because I could just keep pushing that morning A time, let her sleep as long as she wanted, and still get a catnap in before bedtime.  She started transitioning to 1 nap around 10 mos, finished it around 14 mos.  And even now (almost 18 mos), her first A time is still longer - about 5 hrs (sometimes 5.5), but between nap and bedtime is usually only 4, and sometimes less (depending on how long she naps).  It's what works for Abby, so it's normal for her :)  If that's what works for your bub, enjoy it - I found it made the switch to 1 nap so much easier to figure out!!

I'm sorry we were out of town a couple of days.  What does sttn mean?  And so far my husband put her down twice in past few days.  Those were the only times she slept more than an hour!? What is going on!?  I am very glad tho that she got some decent rest.

I'd only push his   A time if you think he's ready.  He's 8.5 mos, right?  He's on the upper end of A time at 4 hrs, so if I were you, I wouldn't push it, but you know if he's ready.  The advice I was given was to keep 2 naps as long as possible.

I'd hold on to 2 naps for a bit longer if you can.

I suspect he's OT on those one nap days and that's why you get he crying at bedtime.  9 mos is really pretty young to go to one nap.  The 30 min nap + crying at 12:30 also looks like OT to me.  I'd try to put him down earlier  - I'm wondering if 4.5 hrs of A time in the am is too much for him.
