please help asap breast pump not working

I have a whittlestones manual breast pump...it was working yesterday but today it is not. I can't see anything wrong with it ??? Any ideas?

hi there i have a different pump but one day i thought i had no milk, i was pumping but no milk was coming.....

the tube had an air lock in it, so now every time i pump i blow through the tube first...
any luck ???

Kirsty - maybe a bit mean, but have you tried latching Jem on when he's not particularly hungry, keeping him there just til you get a letdown then whipping him off and pumping? That way you could tell if it's time for a new pump or if you just aren't getting anything out (ETA - doesn't mean that there isn't anything there, just that you may not be getting a letdown). Manual pumps never worked well for me.

Thanks for the replies.
Still not working though....definitely milk there because i can get milk out by hand. Even after latching Jem on and pumping a few minutes later it is still not working. Grrr!
