Hi!  We've got a fantastic cookbook that we just couldn't live without - Allergy-free Cookbook, by Alice Sherwood.  Each recipe can be made without one or more of the 'big four' allergens - eggs, dairy, nuts and gluten.  It's become a godsend for adapting food for ds1 (egg & peanut allergy).  I can personally attest that the meatload, moussaka, fairy cakes, chocolate layer cake, peach-topped cheesecake & carrot cake are family favourites.

This is from mashimaro's post, thought it would be useful to add here too:

For those of you who don't know, there is a famous bakery in NYC called Babycakes that makes desserts that are all gluten free, dairy free, soy free and egg free, and almost all of them are sugar free as well.  Most everyone I have ever known who has been there has been overwhelmed with how amazing this place is and how wonderful the cakes are.

Well, they are now coming out with a COOKBOOK!!  It's available on amazon, out in the UK in early May for 15 pounds, and can be pre-ordered now.

And here is the Babycakes website   http://www.babycakesnyc.com/

Fantastic dairy free, egg free pumpkin bread recipe!  I didn't use the walnuts or coconut flakes and added choc chips to a couple of batches - soooo moist and delish!  Enjoy.   ;D

My DD is allergic to dairy, eggs and peanuts. So I am always on a hunt for tasty and easy recipes.
Here's a recipe for a nice egg and dairy free corn bread.

Ingredients:
3/4 cup yellow corn meal
1-1/4 cup soy milk
1 tbs white vinegar
2 egg replacer (2 tsp baking powder + 3 tbs water + 3 tbs veg oil mixed together
1-1/4 cup all purpose flour
1/3 cup white sugar
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp baking powder
2 tbs vegetable oil

Method:
In a large bowl mix together cornmeal, soy milk and vinegar and let stand for 10 mins. Add the rest of the ingredients and mix together well. Bake in a greased 9" square pan @ 420 F for 25 mins or till toothpick inserted in a center of a bread comes out clean.
