I'm running into kind of the same thing with my 3 month old DD. She tends to eat every 2.5 hours but can stay awake for the 1.5... makes naps interesting! I thought I might try something like EASAE. So if her first nap is short, say the day starts like this:
Up and E at 7:00
S: 8:45 - 9:30
I'd try to stretch her til 10 or as close to it as I can. Then she'd end up with some A time before and after her feed, making the time from E to S shorter... might help her take a better nap if she'd eaten closer to the time she goes to sleep. Does that make any sense?
I'll be interested to see the advice that you get.
