when to transition EASY to longer?
« on: September 05, 2008, 15:56:04 pm »
I have using EASY since my DD came home from the hospital which was a 3 hour schedule and is breastfeed.  I have always swaddled and put her in her crib awake.  She falls asleep fairly easy on her own and sleeps all night long.  Her schedule looked something like this:
8:00 wake-up/eat  I have to wake her every morning at this time.
9:00-9:30 between her shes ready for a nap.
11:00 wake-up/eat
12:00-12:30 nap
2:00 wake-up/eat
3:00-3:30 nap
5:00 wake-up/eat
6:00 catnap
7:00 wake-up/eat
7:30 bath, get ready for bed
8:00 usually sleeping by 8:00
10:00 dreamfeed
Every nap I was waking her to eat on time.
She is 14 weeks old now , and for 2 days in a row, by the time she fell asleep, she was only taking a 45 min nap, and I would wake her to feed her.  She was getting in a habit of  45 min naps.  The third day and from now on I have been letting her wake-up on her own to eat, but now its throwing all of the times of when she eats off.

Is it time for longer than 3 hr EASY routine?
Should I be waking her from her naps or let her sleep?
