My DD is 10mo and dropped to 3 feeds a day at 9 months. She is really hard to get to take that middle of the day feed. She will latch on for 2secs at a time then look away then come back on if I pull her back for another breif spell, so needless to say she doesn't really help with let down. She's not frustrated about it, she's just not really interested. If I persevere for long enough, most days I can get her to actually feed long enough to let down, then she will feed for about 30secs-1min each side. (She's always been a super fast feeder, but thats a bit ridiculous??)
A couple of times I have forgotten to feed her (great mum I am!!

) but she hasn't complained and will still go down for her afternoon nap and sleep well.
So big question is: is she ready to drop to 2 feeds a day? She just seems so young! In lots of ways it would be heaps easier for me, and I would be more than happy to but is it OK for her?

I'm not going to bother with pumping to start let down as its just inconvenient now.
Any thoughts appreciated!
