sorry to hear about that nw.  If you get another nw and you do think its teeth, if you give any meds make it the first thing you do.  I don't know why but when DD is teething and gets a nw if I go in and try to settle then give meds maybe 30mins in, she will be up for a long one. But if I give meds straight away she seems to settle really quickly and go back to sleep no probs.  I know a few mums who have said the same works for them  ???

like niknLily said I can't give him medis in the middle of the night. As it is giving medi is like having a wrestling match with him..I gave Homeopathic but last night was just one of those.

he slept till 2 today so lets see what the night has in store...

Hey Mukta!
Hope things are better! We're also struggling with teething at the moment, 2yr molars, and have had NW, EW (but thankfully going back to sleep til 7ish) and lots and lots of moaning during the day. I have to give her baby ibuprofen as she's so upset otherwise and points to her mouth and cries :'( Why does these teeth have to be such a pain? Can't wait til teething is done with!
So your DS has cut down on nap quite a bit. Hope things will be settled soon! :-*

Hi there,

DS did not fall aslepe till 8 after loads of moaning and whining but then slept through to 6 so who knows this kid has me going crazy!!!

So lil Lois is already getting her 2 yr molars, that wierd because the ped here told me they get those closer to 3, so obvioulsy he does not kow his nose form his a** ;)

well to be honets i hope they come out now and be done with it for a bit. 3 of his i-teeth are partially out and 1 has still to cut skin...

I think Uday is wprking towardsreducing naps but is not very consistent so he doe shsort naps for a few days na dthen 1 long nap day. I think in total he wants only about 12/12.5hrs of sleep in a day...thats just him I guess.

Hope Lois gets her teeth soon as well :-* :-*

Glad you slept better Mukta!
We were up at 5:50 AM and I see bulges on Nick's gums, upper and lower, sigh... maybe that's why he's been NW/EW.
Took him to bed with me at 6:15, but he just rolled around, poked my eyes, talked with the cat and kicked me from time to time...

ouch..i know the feeling though.

DS loves the headboard on our bed and thinks playing with its texture is fun...and worse still wants to play with the neighbours dog in the middle of the night and knows that she is up as her lights are on..try telling him that Barney is alseep!! and he looks at me as if I am off my rocker as don't I know lights on means doggy is up??

LOL about the dog!
I know, they all have their little things they're into- don't they?
Nick loves to talk about the sun and the moon, every night we look out the window at bedtime to see if it is visible.
About a month ago, he wouldn't sleep it was 9:30 PM!! He was running up and down the hall giggling- I was on the phone with my dad who suggested to leave the curtains open so he could see the moon as he slept.-
I'll be darned, but it worked-kiddo went right out.
Of course the next week, he woke and asked to see the moon at 2 AM- LOL!
