siblings school dropoff messing with 4mon. nap!
« on: September 27, 2008, 18:05:16 pm »
My 4 month old is having a tougher time with naps because my preschooler has to be dropped off and picked up.  I'm not sure what to do.  We need to load the van at 9:15 to go but baby's nap starts around 8:30 (we are transitioning to 4hr EASY).  9:15 is the 45 minute mark so when I go to put her in the carseat, she wakes up and stays up.  Same thing in the afternoon.  I swaddle her in the carseat but this still doesn't help everytime.

I know this is difficult and frustrating, I am struggling with this myself.  I am interested to hear if anyone has any suggestions...

Good luck!  :) :-*

We either changed wake up time slightly and went from there, or DD would do a longer A time.  She is angel baby though so was easier to be flexible x
Mummy to 2 beautiful kiddies.

A baby is born from the dreams of your heart, and becomes the love of your life.

I am struggling with this too.

I have had to start going for a walk to try to get a catnap in when we get back from pm school run but it is hard to fit it in when dinner has to made and lunches sorted etc etc. And it does not always work.
I was going to try earlier bedtime but he already goes to bed at 7pm and dh gets home at 6pm so if i put him to bed earlier dh would not see him at all.
