Hi Nicola!
I thought I'll let you know how we are getting on and ask you some as your advice was so useful in the past!

Sleep training - Was going really good, to the point that the last 4/5 days I was putting her down and left the room and she would fall asleep after a little bit fussing.
OT - Managed to extend her siestas (not sure how! I guess reading her cues better!) and she started to sleep better and she slept through the night for 2 nights in a row.
Now a couple of days ago, I had to go out and had to put her 1 hour later for her 2nd siesta, since then it's been hell!
1. She's started taking 1 45mins siesta again and waking 3 times in the night (one of them she wakes up, wide awake and it takes her 2 hours to go back to sleep!). I know that if I can get her naps right again the NW's may stop, but in the meantime you mentioned that it's not good for me to sit next to her until she falls asleep as I can become a prop, but what do I do? If I leave the room, she cries, but she doesn't if I'm in the room, so can't really use PU/PD...
2. Today she didn't want me to leave the room when I put her to bed (siestas and bedtime!) What have I done wrong? I guess the answer to number one would be the same as here...
3. When I put her to bed, it's taking her 1 hour plus to go down (before it used to be 5 to 20mins). At the moment she's very active and desperately trying to crawl and that's what she does when I put her in her cot, she moves a lot and becomes overstimulated... how do I stop this? I put her in bed and she looks tired, but then she kicks on. Do I keep putting her on her back until she falls asleep? That's sort of what I'm doing but it takes about 1.5 hours! (this is for both siestas + bedtime!!) I just don't know how to calm her down, she simply spins in her bed and keeps going on 4 as she does in the day.
I hope you don't mind me asking for more help, I'm simply lost! I can put up with NW's and difficult days if I know what to do, but not sure how to tackle these ones!!
