3 yr old - new baby, he wont stay out of our room and wakes with baby !!

Hi

Could anyone please help.  I have a 3 year old boy who has always been a good sleeper in his own room, however i had my second son 2 weeks ago and on the first night billy came in our room, i didnt want him to resent his baby brother ( sleeps in our room) so we let him stay, this has turned into anightmare, he wakes every 3 hours with baby and is wide awake, he wont leave the baby alone ! he is tired and i know he just needs a good nights sleep, tried taking him back but he screms like mad and im too tired to deal with it, please can anyone tell me what to do casue im exhausted and so is he, i know its my fault but cant see how to fix it.   Baby has reflux so needs sleep when he can get it

not sure what to do as I ahve not experienced this myself as yet, but would it help if you told your 3yo that baby needs sleep else baby cannot play with him. It sound slike he is just curious and wnats to knwo what the baby is upto. So i'd say try the rewarding system that if he sleeps in his won room for the whole nightg he can play with the baby paybe even get a cuddle and so on.
