Ahhhh, help!

dd is 3 months old. She has been sleeping in the bassinet in our room, swaddled, for nighttime since birth. As of 2 nights ago, she would have 2-4 wakings per night, and all was fine. The only thing is, she has started to be able to get out of her swaddle completely (Miracle Blanket), and I don't like the idea of having that blanket loose in the crib. She is on (roughly) a 3 hr EASY. However,, she naps in the sling--3 naps and a catnap per day. I started this because it was so easy to just pop her in and let her sleep there for naps, and still allow me to be with my almost 3 yr old. But, then several things happened. dd is touchy (with perhaps a touch of grumpy), and seems to be growing more touchy by the day. She has become very sensitive to sounds/light, and now only sleeps in the sling for 30 minutes at a time before ds yells or I go out in the sun with her, or I accidentally breathe wrong on her (

--you get the point--and she startles awake. Also, she is really too long for the bassinet. So, i came up with a brilliant ::)plan: Move her to the crib in her room, still swaddled, for nights. At the same time, start putting her down for 1 nap in the crib, and use p/s to teach her to sleep on her own. For the nap, I thought I'd go with a sleep sack, since I want the swaddle totally weaned sometime very soon, and since she had never napped in the crib before, I though I'd do it all at once for naps, instead of teaching her to nap in the swaddle and then weaning it later. So, the first day, she slept 1 nap in the crib in a sleep sack for 20 min, after I human swaddled her through the jolts. That night, she slept swaddled in the crib and only woke up 3 times, and 2 of those were to nurse. Not bad! Then, yesterday, all of her sling naps were 30 min, and she never catnapped, and the one in the crib was a broken 35, with me doing the human swaddle thing again. And last night, she was up at least once per hour from 8 pm till 4 am, and then was up for the day!!!!

So, obviously, she is overtired, but I'm not sure what to do. If her sling naps are crappy, and so are her crib naps, how will we ever get out of this mess? Should I break down and swaddle her for that 1 nap, even though that means in a few weeks, I'll have to sleep train again when I wean the swaddle? Or should I just keep doing what I'm doing and hope it gets better? Anyne have any thoughts on making the bassinet to crib transition go more smoothly?
