Finger Snack Foods - now thats ALL she wants to eat
« on: January 28, 2009, 06:28:57 am »
Layla is almost 10 months.
To an outsider her pointing to her air puff snack foods or rice krispies is really funny.
And when she shakes her head back and forth no when you ask her if she wants sweet potatoes is a real riot.

To us, not so funny since she was eating a lot of solid foods up until this week.

How do we get back on track so she doesn't turn to be a junk food junkie, like her dad, and get he back to an appetite for real food?

Thanks, I am very grateful.

How about not letting her see the snacks, out of sight out of mind?  Offer only healthy snacks (fruits, veggies, cheese, etc) and meal options when it's time to eat.  Tell your dh not to eat them in front of her.

Dang. This is my issue too. My almost 1 yr old isn't playing ball with solids (barr a few carbs) at all. She refuses to try anything new. Won't eat veggies, fruit or meat.

What to do ? She's super stubborn and even more fussy than her brother. I want to get rid of a bottle soon and then move to cow's milk. So far she won't drink cow's either :-(

HELP !!
