Please can you share your soy intolerance symptoms and stories as I'm not sure if that's what DS has and could do with some advice. :)

Hi, for us it was eczema on his face, arms, hands, legs, and feet.  He also had a constant runny nose, for those 9 months he was on regular formula.  He also was very cranky and tired.  I'm not sure if it was because his tummy was upset or the itchiness of the eczema.  He woke several times a night and claw at his face repeatedly.   I recommend reading this thread, it lists all the different symptoms, every baby is different and may experience one or all of the symptoms and in varying degrees of severity. http://babywhispererforums.com/index.php?topic=66236.0

For my son the symptoms were eczema and severe constipation. His bowel movements were like chalk and he screamed whilst trying to pass one, nedless to say we soon took him off the soy fornula. James later tested positive to it on a RAST test, though with the symptoms we were told that he was allergic to soy by his consultant so was not tested until 3rd lot of RAST tests.

He doesn't have any of the symptoms you have shared but is just really sick... we had a period without sickness after he'd been in hospital and his system had been completely cleared out but after about 5 days on the soya all the sickness has come back :(

Not every child has the same symptoms and it certainly sounds like the soy is causing an issue. What does the doctor say about it?

GP is rubbish, seeing a paed but not till 4th March.  He didn't say anything about it last time though....I think also because DS had such bad reaction to nutramigen soya was the lesser of two evils.  Not sure what he'll suggest now...

Your ds may need an elemental forumula like neocate. My ds is on neocate as did not tolerate soy formula or nutramigen.
