Been wheat free for a year now - when to try it.
« on: February 23, 2009, 12:13:29 pm »
My DS had bad colic as a newborn and I found that eliminating wheat from my diet stopped it (he was breastfed). He's been wheat free since. He's now 13 months and I'm wondering should I try him again. Can LOs grow out of their early intolerances?

Thanks in advance

They can grow out of early intolerances. The only way to find out is to trial it and se how it goes. It would be a good idea to take it slowly and watch out for any possible symptoms even little things like changes in behaviour as this can often be one of the first signs of a fail. If you decide to give it a go please let us know how it goes.
