500 internal server error

regularly getting this, 5 times in last 30 mins??? happens during posting replies. happened a few times last time i logged in too???

Internal Server Error
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.

More information about this error may be available in the server error log.

Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

yeah, it happens from time to time, though i have no idea why.  i wonder if sometimes it's because at certain times of the day there are soooo many people online. 

or if the software's just feeling glitchy.

it does seem to be worse at peek times (ie. when LOs are all in bed  ;))

the only time I've seen it this bad is when the site crashed....so I don't think it's just a user volume issue, though I know nothing about the internal workings of network servers, so who knows? but it's driving me CRAZY!!!

I've had to log on about 5 times now.  I can open any thread/post when I first log on, and can scroll up and down that particular board/forum using the previous & next buttons, but if I leave the first board/forum I open, I'm getting the 500 message too.

But here's the bizzare thing once I posted a reply on a post, I can get in anywhere like "normal".   ???

i've had it occasionally before but it's getting really bad. last night 8 times in 40 mins! today it happened 10 times in a row whenever i clicked on a link so i just logged off as couldnt do anything????
