Activity time for a 11 month old
« on: March 16, 2009, 18:40:40 pm »
Hi
My little one is nearly 11 months. She walked at 8 months. She is Spirited. I am in the process of doing PU/PD/WI/WO. We still have a long haul ahead of us. But I was wondering if may be she is overtired and this making the process longer. Just wondering how much A time she needs at the moment I tend to put her down between 2-3 hours after waking and she only has 2 naps so that means that from waking from her last nap she is has an A time of 4 hours. She is very busy and hardly wants to sit still, on the go all the time. She has an angel older sister so its an adjustment for us.

May be some one can give me an idea as to what to do with a little one like her (who cant sit still for more than 4 sec) for quiet play. I try and read to her but half way through a book she wants to be up again. The only time she quietely plays for a while is if she is unrolling the toilet paper.

Thanks in advance

I was going to suggest the same as Stacy. What is your general routine? 2 hours of A time is not nearly enough. I would say AT LEAST 3 hours. More like 3.25-3.5 in the exact order Stacy suggested. The 2-1 was also very long for us. Started at 9-10 months and just now at 16 months we are on one nap. HTHs.
