tbh i am finding it hard to follow your routine, is this what you think she should be doing, is she sleeping from 815 til 945, i remember with both mine that the morning a time was the shortest, a contiuation of the night sleep, are you doing the 3 hour routine

I'd probably shorten that A time a bit -- by 10 minutes -- before the 2nd nap of the day.  It may just be that she's more tired then.

The reason I asked about what activity you were doing is because at this age they are so easily overstimulated.  Since your A time didn't look too off, I thought maybe she was getting a little OS before that nap and wasn't abel to settle.  Doesn't look that way -- you're not doing anything too crazy! So, try a bit shorter A time and see if she'll settle easier.

At this age we expect around 1.5 hour naps.

I also think you're stretching her too much at night.  When she woke from her evening nap at 6:20, she should have been down for the night at 7:30.  Some nights you won't have time for a bath etc. because their A time is just too short! Also, for some LOs this age a bath is stimulating, not relaxing. That tends to be true of touchy babies esp.  Don't know what personality your LO has, but a touchy or even spirited LO might get more wound up (overstimulated) by a bath before bed.  We did ours midday since that seemed to work better for him.

The key at this age is to maintaiin an A time that they can handle, which is going to be around 1h10-1h15 at this age.

Make sense?

Yeah it makes sense i know sometimes she can get over stimulated.I try to keep the activties calm as i  know she can get tried very easily. She was doing good there last few days but seem to b out of sorts today.

Took her out for walk when she was due a nap and didnt sleep.Put her in cot when got home but didnt sleep was close to her feed.So gavee bottle and put her bac down again but only slept for 30 mins. But day before we were out for walk and she slept fine and was still sleeping when we got home.

Is there any way to settle in pram so can take her out? I want to b able to take her out as hav no family were i am living and husband is working all day so nice to get out of house for a while.I dont drive so walking my only option.

What activities would u recomend to do at her age?

Thanks for all the advice

Really activity is very limited at this age -- changing diaper and feeding. LOL! You can hold her, sing to her, and take her for walks or wear her in sling or front pack.  But that's about it.  In another month or so you can start doing more stuff like tummy time, swing, play mat etc.  But until 12 weeks it can be borderline as to whether any of those things are more stimulating than helpful. [ every kid is different though!]

You can absolutely do a pram nap if you like.  A lot of moms use the cat nap towards the end of the day as their pram nap since it will most likely be a short one, so you don't have to worry about her waking when you stop your walk.  If that's too late in the day for you, try a mid-day walk and see what happens.  She may get used to it and nap quite well that way.  some moms leave their LO in the pram after walk is done so as not to wake them.  Of course, you can't just leave pram outside while you go in and do your stuff! LOL! But obviously put it in a place you can monitor sleep period.

It's going to depend a bit on her personality as to whether she'll nap in a pram or not.  Touchies and sometimes spirited LOs can have a hard time napping that way.  Touchies because they like everything *just so* and also because there's just so much to observe! Spirited can be so distracted by all the action going on around them that they don't want to miss out!  :P  so, try it a few times and see what happens.  Don't get frustrated if she short naps that way at first.  Even though BW is all about routine, we also really stress discovering what works best for YOUR family.  If getting out and having fresh air makes you a better mommy, then do your best to have LO's routine accomodate that.  It may mean you do a short nap mid-day and then give a shorter A time to have long nap later in the day.  Mom's mental health is more important than having baby nap in cot each and every time.  :)

This website has helped so many mamas, and glad you're one of them too!  ;D

The time change can be tricky, but it doesn't have to be.  what I've *always* done is just gone by A time with my little one and then adjusted as necessary to get bedtime to the right time.  Clocks are going forward right? (we did ours a few weeks ago already).  So, that means 7 am will now be 8 am.  Actually, I'm not sure you need to do much.  Your LOs naps will be a bit variable yet, so you may get bedtime close to 7:30 that first day and by 2nd day be back at 7 pm (or whatever it is you guys do).  Don't try to get her on the new time in 1 day is my real advice, I guess.  LOs this age can move about 10-15 minutes at a time, so it may take you 3 days to get her where you want.   After the first day if your bedtime is really late let me know, and we'll come up with a specific strategy.
