W2S Success stories?
« on: March 17, 2009, 16:19:44 pm »
Has anyone actually had any success with W2S for night wakings.  My LO is waking everynight around 3am and I am thinking of trying this tonight.

Well, it sort of worked.  I went in at 2 and he woke up at 3:46 instead of 3 or a little before.  I was able to get him back to sleep and he woke up at 5.  I'll probably have to work on the 3 am wake up first, then see if he moves it to 4 and go from there.  For now I'm ok if he wakes up around 5, he's only 3.5 months and I can't do the dream feed with him, it makes him wake up a lot more.

Well, it didn't work last night.  I went in there @ 2:00 and he woke up at 2:36.  Although, he had two good naps yesterday, about 1.5 hours each, that is a first, so I am excited about that.

He'll be 15 weeks tomorrow.  He has mild reflux and is on Zantac syrup.  I've been trying to switch him to the 4 hour EASY, the only problem is even if he waits 4 hours, he doesn't eat any more than he ate at 3 hours and I don't know what to do about it.  He only recently got on the Zantac and was really fighting the bottle a couple of weeks ago.  Now, he does better, but still only eats 4-5 oz at a time and I usually have to give him a break and go back and get him to eat another couple of oz 20-30 minutes later.  So, in total right now he is eating about 25 oz a day.
