I agree with Liz. At this age I would count 1.5 as a full nap. And that's when I would try a longer A time.

Great day. I hope you get a repeat.

Great day!!!
Just agreeing with Liz and Sherry that 1hrs 10 is still on the short side, so a slightly shorter A time afterwards was the exact right thing to do!

cried out for about 30 seconds during the evening but settled and then woke at 5am.i fed her and she fell asleep whilst feeding so i put her back and she slept till 6.20am.

think it may have started wrong already. She was getting grumpy at 8.30 but i couldnt get her down till 9am cos of taking ds to school she was almost dropping off in the car so i think she has gone to bed OT so am expecting a short nap.that was 2.40 A time so will see ??? i really cant do anything about the first nap with doing the school run so im just hoping she just gets used to the first nap being at 9 no matter what time she wakes? wishfull thinking maybe!

will stick to those A times, thanks Liz.

She was in bed by 6.20 and i was expecting her to be very restless due to OT but went straight to sleep and ive heard nothing!!

Did she feed well at 4.20am? I would have done exactly the same - feed and attempt to resettle. I don't do DFing so can't help with that bit.

Any other NWings before then? I guess prob a bit OT after bad naps yesterday. Looks a bit like the old UT leading to OT thing again. But I think it is moving in the right direction with only 3 naps even if they were short.

How is today going?

no she didnt feed well she only fed for a short while.im wondering whether to just stop the DF completely and then at least if she wakes she may be properly hungry ::)

she woke at 5.50
9.05-10.20--a long A time before i know but couldnt help it cos of school run.
12.50..........asleep at the mo after 2.5 A time like you said after short nap.1.15 hrs still short--yes???

When we dropped the DF we did get some early mornings issues. I was panicked about it, but it didn't last. When we got the dream feed down to 8 I did dropped it completely. How many ounces are you giving? Or how many minutes, if you are not doing the bottle?

It's not so much that 1h15 minutes is short, just that maybe not a complete nap, so maybe she can't do the 3 hours.

I hope the rest of the day ends well.

I think 1h 15 nap is likely to still need a shorter A time afterwards. Same happened to me this morning and I shortened the A by 30 mins and got a decent long nap afterwards.

Today looked so much better  :)

It will be so nice when the night feeds go - I'm hoping that might also make the night sleep more restful  :)
