Calling all mums of grumpy/touchy babes
« on: March 20, 2009, 18:23:04 pm »
My lo is definitely a grumpy/touchy baby and I have a hard time keeping him happy during A times.  He fusses off and on all day, especially during the second and third A time of the day.  And I am certain he is not fussing because he is tired or hungry.  As I always tell my husband, he is just a grumpy little thing.  I don't know what to do to keep him happier during the day and to be honest, the constant fussing is making me a little grumpy too.  I have finally gotten him into a good sleep pattern, thanks to some much welcomed and appreciated advice on the nap board, and I am SOOOOO happy about that.  I just wish I could now help him to be a bit happier himself.  I try not to over-stimulate him with toys that make sound or have lights.  He hates tummy time, refuses to roll over, and cries every time I leave the room.  Any suggestions?  I've thought about putting him in the baby b'jorn in the afternoons, but he is rather heavy, and that wouldn't last long.
