Long Afternoon Nap... 6 weeks old... ???
« on: March 25, 2009, 17:35:25 pm »
I have a 6 week old S and he is a good napper... But, the only issue I am having is that his late morning nap turns into one huge nap...

He can sleep from 11:00 - 3:00... I get him up so that he can drink his 1:00 bottle but he falls asleep in the middle of it and only drinks about 3 oz and goes right back to sleep...

Is this ok? I try to wake him but it is near to impossible!! He just moves a little and then goes limp... And, I have tried everything... Even letting my 2 yr old bother him a bit and he doesn't even care... LOL!!

He usually wakes up at night and sleeps well... Last night he woke up to have his diaper changed and drank about 2 oz... It took a while for him to fall asleep because I couldn't figure out why he was awake... so, he got OT... and he had a bad sleep routine the night before....

Any advise is welcome... Thank you!

Sorry no real advice except to say that my 2 week old little g does the same thing. She's impossible to wake up. I don't think it's such a big deal as long as night sleep is still decent and there is no ot going on. Hopefully someone else hs better advice.
