transition to a 4 hour routine
« on: March 25, 2009, 17:47:36 pm »
Hi

I have  boy. He is 11 weeks and weight 8.3kg. So far he has been on 3 hour routine from day one. However over the last 2 weeks his activity time has increased. Our routine is the following:
7.00-eat
8.00-activity
9.00-sleep

10.00-eat
11.00-activity
12.00-sleep

13.00-eat
14.00-activity
14.30 sleep(i have him outside)

16.00-eat
16.30-activity
18.00-sleep ( catnap for 40 min)

18.45 eat
19.30 bath
20. 00 sleep

I have no problems putting him for naps and he doesn;t wake up during the night.
Shall I start putting him on a 4 hour routine cuz his naps time are so short or is he too young for this?

thank you

looking forward tohear from you.

Keeping your lo up longer won't necessarily increase the length of his naps. I would be inclined to keep a times shorter to see if that increases the length of your naps. Your naps MAY mean over tired rather than under tired.
