ok ladies the night was not great but not awful.

A couple of short NW, but teething is an issue and the fact that DH let DS sleep for 2 hrs lats afternoon, for obvious reasosns!

there was no request to coem to our bed and a few requests for a quick hand hold and tahts it. :)

so today sleep will be limite dto max 1.5 hrs in teh afternoon and lets hpe for a bette rnighht tomorrow

ok thught I'd update everyone.

We are still not ahveing great nights at all. 1 nighht and 1 5am, I ahve allowed him into our bed and I know its an absolute no-no, but he had a real bad nose bleed taht night and then the am was only because both DH and I wee not emotionally pr physically in a state to manage another day and night of poor sleep.

But we are hopeful.

For 2 days now I am restricting nap to only 1 hr to see if it makes it all better. I think w eare dealing witha  lot as he is teething as well and then woke up for the firts tiem ever this am with a dry nappy - 11 hrs...but in the night woke up at 2 saying tummy was full but was too sleepy to wee...so hopefully all thsi will settle

pray I have courage and strength to continue.

I agree with Stacy - take a break from sleep training for a while and only start again when you're feeling strong and up to it hun bun.
The difference of a week or so is nothing at all.
Love and hugs, sweetie :-* :-* :-*

you are right Stacy and i don;t wnat to take a break only because I need something to keep busy and something to acxtually make me feel better.

the night was a major faux pax and sadly was also the night i knew I was m/c so it was all too mcuh to handle and maybe thats ok. the point for me to stya with is taht I am determined to make thsi work and am not giving up now, I just can't/

For more than one reason I just need one little success in life right now, just one little, and this seems to be the only aspect of life I think I could possibly influence.

Tonight Ds was up at 5:30 and thenhad me in his room till 6:30 when we finally started the day
just went down for a nap at noon is very tired but will wak ehim at 1 and aim for a sleep time fo 7:30 so in bed before 7:15, hopefully he will be tired enough.

Fingers crossed you get some rest, and I admire your stick-to-it-iveness.
You CAN influence this and change his sleep patterns, it will take work and consistency, but it can be done, so if this is the project you need for the moment, embrace it!
I agree w/Stacy re: the you in his room/bed instead.
Courage and strength for tonight!

Thanks mashi and Cathie.

with the 1 hr nap, he went down beautifully at 7:30 lats night, but was up and about at 5:45. trie dgoing to hisroom to stay with him but he was just up and ready for the day. We had  abit of a Nw at 10:30 but the rest of the night was smoother. So not too bad and I guess I can live with 5:45, which I think was a wee caused EW.

toay he has had just over an hr nap so lets see how the night goes. Might try and get him on the potty to wee before i get to bed and see if taht make sit all better becuas ehe was sleepy when he woke up and could ahve slept more I think

Great progress! Yeah, maybe potty just before bed, and then at the early waking, try to resettle afterwards. I know when I was 2 I would sleepwalk to the potty and get back to bed...worth a try?
Hoping for a good night!
