He went to sleep at 7:40.  He just couldn't make it any longer from that 35m pm nap.  I'm still not sure if it was because he was OT, which I wouldn't think so because he had 1hr25m am nap, and only 3hr10m A...so gas or teething is what I'm thinking.  He did have a pretty good night 7:40-6:45, but had NW at 9:30 and 10:30.  At 9:30, I just resettled, and he went back to sleep before I left the room.  At 10:30, I decided to give meds, just in case it was teething.  Didn't hear him again until he started stirring around 5:55.  He didn't actually wake until 6:45, just stirred a couple of times...the stirring before they wake is normal, right?

Here's today:
wake 6:45
10:05-11:35 nap 1 (1hr30m)
2:55-3:50 nap 2 (55m)

Today's naps were great!  The 1st A was a little less than 3.5hr (3hr20m), but he was so drowsy, I did a super short wind down, and he went to sleep right away.  Since I was getting OT (I think) naps the past 2 days on 3.5A before the pm nap, I tried for 3hr20m, and it worked much better!  He should be able to handle 4hr A before bed, so that gives us a 7:50 bedtime...I feel like I am almost there, or maybe I am there and now we just have to keep it this way!  We will see how tonight goes!!!

Thanks for all of your help, everyone!

Big well done to you :D :D

I really hope all your very good work continues, you just need to stick with it.

Isabella slept through from 6.15pm- 6.40am yIPEE.. She is high on sleep.

Her teeth are really hurting her today and making her tired as she keeps laying her head on the floor and closing her eyes, so had a sort A time this morning-She has started crawling forward as well so we have a very tired little lady.

Keep us posted how it goes xx

He did!  7:50-6:40ish...I'm not sure if he was actually up at 6:40, as he was just moving around a bit with a quiet murmur every 5 min or so.  He didn't start really singing until about 7:10.  I think I've learned something...little Mikey just doesn't really sleep 11.5 hrs at night anymore.  On the days where he gets only 2 hr of naps, he might sleep a little more than 11 hrs, and on the days where he gets 2.5 hr of naps, he sleeps 11 hrs, or maybe 10-15 min less.  I think it's ok if we get 10hr45m/50m at night, it's not that far off, kwim?

funny you say that about the 2 hour naps or 2.5 hours.

I find Isabella is worse at night with more day sleep, I am restricting this Nap to 45 mins (If I get that long) ha ha

You seem to be doing so well now, hope the good work continues x

Great you had a good night!  :-* :-* Yes, it is very common to have shorter nights with longer naps, that's why at this age you need to limit them! ;)

Hi!  So glad BW is back!  We were doing pretty well until the last couple of days...teething for sure!  Looks like 4 are about ready to come on the top...gums are soooo swollen, and I can see the teeth under the gums.  He has been quite miserable.  I have had to shorten some As, and give an extra nap.  Feeding has been a major issue, along with several NWs and EWs.  I think I should start a new thread, since Mikey is now 10.5 months.  I'll insert it after I get it posted.

I can't seem to get the link posted...it is in the EASY forum.

10.5 month routine a mess with teething!
