{{{{{{hugs}}}}} it sounds like you're having a rough day!!!  I'm guessing after the super short night that she is OT, so I'd say let her nap longer and do normal bedtime or do a short nap and an early bedtime to try to help her get caught up?

hey hun, i tried for the long nap, she went down, wouldnt go sleep :( finally fell asleep at 1pm and then Jack woke her at 1.30, I went to the loo, and he had gone and got her and brought her down the stairs as Jack wanted us to go out, so am soooooooooooo grrrrrrrr!!!

She was put to bed 20 mins ago and no sound so far, but that means nothing at all with abbi, she can be as quiet as a mouse but awake lol!!!

Wow where did my wonderful sleeper go :(

oh no {{{{{{hugs}}}}} wish I had some easy answers for you. :(  Has she always shared a room with Jack?  so no go on the long nap, and now no go on early bedtime....hmmmm......with my Abby, we stopped early bedtime once she adjusted to 1 nap, I just never found it worked for her, so maybe your Abbi is the same way?  Abby seems to have a "natural" bedtime - and it's always been between 7/8 - so usually her bedtime is 7:30, though we've just recently moved it to 8, but even when she's had loads of day sleep or slept in, she's still ready for bed at 8, and if her naps sucks and she wakes at 2 instead of 3:30, she still doesn't want to go to bed til 7:30/8, and if I do early bedtime, she'll either sing and play in there or she'll drop right off and wake at 5.  It's possible it's a similar deal with your Abbi.

Emma, I went through a phase of Alex having a party at bedtime.  But honestly, try to keep the bedtime as early as possible, offer her a book or something that she can do quietly telling her that if she wants to stay awake that's fine, as long as she doesn't come out of her room.  If she is happy leave her.  I remember when Alex was around Abbi's age there was a huge thread on the go about children of the same age all having parties at bedtime, it lasted about 2 months and then she settled again.
Hope the same thing happens for you too, but I would try to do as little as possible to avoid AP at this stage.

hi ladies, thanks for your advice again :) well, when I took jack up at 7.30 she was fast asleep yay :)  I woke this morn at 6am and crept in and turned on their fan as the traffic was starting up (tractors), her cover was on the floor so I turned on the fan, covered her up, and popped her dummy in her mouth, she kind of twitched but next thing I woke at 7am, and just heard the faintest of stirring, then she woke. So wow 7am!  I did nothing differently and she had a crappy nap ??? maybe it is just one of those phases ??? ??? ???

it absolutely could just be one of those phases (as tends to be the case when none of our usual "tweaks" seems to fix it).  My best advice on riding out a phase is just was Mari said - do as little APing as possible and keep the routine as consistent as possible.
