There's no clunk, it's done with lights (not that mechanical one with the eyes/ears). Got it specifically because he's a really light sleeper, a clunk would definitely wake him. Will keep you posted.

Hey Anna - glad Stan has gone back to later wake-ups - you're about where we are too - back to 6.15 to 7 ish most mornings.
