How Much Independent Activity for a 5 Month Old
« on: August 18, 2009, 12:06:05 pm »
Finn is 5 months old tomorrow.  For the first 3 months it was do or die with reflux - not much A time, more like screaming down the house time.  We AP'd and just fastened our seatbelts.
By month 3 - 4 things were going much better, since the thickening of the formula, he is doing much better.
So now I am trying to get some decent A time but I guess I don't really know what to do with him.
I just wonder how much of that time should be 'independent play' and how much time I should spend 'entertaining' him.
What do you gals do with your 5 month olds?
The tweaking never stops!

I haven't read through the whole list, but I imagine some are independent ideas as well.  If he isn't happy with you walking away at first, make sure you reassure and come back often.
