Hooray!  Here's hoping this is the start of lots of lovely long naps.  I think 6 sounds like a good time to shoot for - I would try to aim for a bedtime that you can do relatively consistently, though.  I think that trying to get a consistent bedtime will help sort her out, so if you're not going to be able to put her down at 6 every night for the next week you might want to adjust it to a time that you can always do, iyswim.

ok so just filling you in on the last couple of days.
friday we got the 1.5hr nap bed at 6pm wok at 6am tho a bit restless from 4.30.

yesterday(sat) slept 11.30-12.30 so not too good but ok.Bed for 5.45 woke at 5.50am(wasnt sure if i should have got her to bed for 5.30 cos she was definately ready or whether i need to stick to times.had to do 5.45 cos could not go any longer!

Today;just as im about to put her to bed at 11.30 people turned up!! AARRGGGHH she was so excited to see them and was chasing the kids around the house. It was 12.30 before i could get her to bed!! hoping this doesnt give us a short nap.

wwyd bout bedtime? stick to 6pm or bring it earlier if nap is short? was unsure bout yesterday and today!

I'd do bed at 5.30 if the nap is short - that's ace that she's been doing 12 hour nights!

Sounds like a great couple of nights, even if the days weren't brilliant.  I think she is going to settle into one nap and surprise you!  If she does have a short nap, then definitely do early bed.  Fingers crossed that she stays asleep, though.

Way to go, Daisy!  E does 2.30 till 6.30, but has been doing it for ages.  Not sure whether you should try a bit earlier while she gets used to one nap.  If it was me, I would probably shoot for 6.30, but I don't really know D so it's hard to say exactly what you should do.

Hope this is the start of lots of 2 hour naps.  ;D

I would do 6.30pm otherwise she will be UT at bedtime as she has had such a good nap.. but maybe keep a close eye on her just before 6pm to see how she is coping.

Well done for the 2 hour nap they are ace aren't they!! fingers crossed it continues.

i had a nice snooze in the sunshine 8) it was heaven!

By 5.30 she was rubbing her eyes and getting crabby so i go her in the bath and into bed by 6.10 to be on the safe side.she then sang 'row your boat' (well her version of it ::))till she went to sleep at 6.30 !

im still in shock with the 2 hrs!! i mean it was a 6.40A from wake up till nap...she must have been shattered! i hope she naps that well going down at 11.30 tomorrow!

mmm, well we had a restless night.A bit odd.Asleep for 6.30 but then from 9.30-12.30 she kept waking up and going back to sleep.i went in to her a few times and she was wide awake and chaty with me.id leave she would go quiet for 30 ish mins and then start again moaning and crying. i tried meds in case it was teeth but that didnt seem to make much difference.
she was wide awake from 5.15 ready to start her day!!

what do you think? the 2 hrs cant be too much for her surely?  not enough A time before bed?
too much A time..tho im not sure thats it cos took a while to go to sleep.if OT we get screaming.

any ideas?

It might be that she was feeling as if the first part of her sleep was her second nap iyswim? I'd give it another couple of days on one nap, letting her sleep as long as she wants, because this is a big transition and it's no surprise if things go a bit wonky at first.
