Same here MM.  We are trying to push it out but everything hinges on the morning getting longer which means he must sleep past 5 a.m.!!!  It's tough.

I'm here at my parents and loving all the additional help! Last night went ok, not great, but no bad for being in a new place. He slept in a little ( I think due to the so so  sleep last night) so maybe I'll try and push bedtime to 10-15 minutes later. Do you find that they still wake at the same time?

Good luck ladies!

Yeah I find he does hehe.  Finn's just between 5 - 6 a.m. without fail.  Today he went until 5:50 (mind you had a NW at 2:40) so close to 6 but no cigar.
But all LO's are different and some will happily adjust their wake time.

OMG enjoy the help!  That's the best vacation ever hehe.

Marlow STTN again last night.  Yeah!!!   Then she short napped me this morning after 3 hr of A time.  BOO!!!   I went to p/u my 3 yr old andI had it planned that I would be back here in time to put her down after 2.5 hr of A time.    The stinking preschool had a "festival" going on and it was running late.    Now Marlow has been up for 3.5 hours!    I KNOW she is going to short nap me again.   I know she will not sleep well tonight.   CRAP!
Oki, glad to here your LO is doing better than expected.   It is nice to have others that are more than willing to take your LO off your hands for a bit.    Regarding your question, Marlow woke at 522am, went back to sleep and woke at 645am which was a bit later than normal.     Her wake up time has been between 6 and 630 usually even when I push her bedtime.   If I have a day of short naps then I'll be able to push her bedtime to 730pm (I hope).

Things here are *maybe* getting better ?

His nights are good. He has started waking early, but resettling until about 6:30-7ish.

Naps are still a off but we get a long nap sprinkled in the with all the short ones, and that is sanity saving :) He had an hour and fifteen minute nap yesterday, and then two 30minute naps. Maybe he's UT for first nap and then gets OT later on. However, after a short nap, I don't keep him up longer than 2hrs, so not sure how he gets OT in such a short ammt of time.  Then today, an hour nap this morning, so we'll see what the afternoon has in store.

Your girl is adorable! Did she come out with that much hair?!

Marlow is teething something awful.    She's chewing on everything.    This is her 2nd tooth and it is visible in the gum line so any day now that sucker will pop through.     Her night sleep is awful and so her naps are screwed up too.    I did manage to pat her back to sleep after she woke 45 min during her first nap his morning.    I got another 30 min out of her.    Now we are in the second nap and I'm going to go stand there by her crib in about 20 min and see what happens.   I tried to push out the 2nd A time (as suggested) to 3 hrs and she was really tired.
My other issue is that I used to be able to put her in the crib and she would close her eyes but since the teething I started patting her back to get her to sleep and then putting her on my shoulder and patting her so she would close her eyes.    Now
she wants me to hold her so she will close her eyes.   If I put her in the crib and try to  pat she fusses, moves about, cries, and gets upset.     As soon as I pick her up she puts her head on my shoulder, thumb in her mouth, and closes her eyes.   I lay her down within 15 seconds of picking her up.     Frustrating.....

Marlowsmom: sorry about the teeth :( Ambrose is working on a few I *think*. I can't see any yet, but he sure acts like he's going to get one. I think when things are rough for them, they just need more TLC in every way. Hope that tooth pops through and she's back to her more independent sleeping self :)

Thanks Oki.   Luckily, because she took an 1.5 hr nap this morning, I was rewarded with almost 2 hr nap this afternoon.   She woke at 245pm so I got to sneak in a CN that lasted 30 min.     So I breathe a little easier with hope that she will sleep better tonight.    She is going to stay the night (for the first time) at my MIL this Saturday night so I'm hoping to keep her on a smooth track this week.

Hey everyone, we got teething still too but no sign of those teeth.  Man this is dragggging on.  And he is waking at night again.  It could be some OT because his naps are still often on the short side but who knows.  MIL is here this week from the UK and DH is off for 3 days too so lots of help around.  Trying to stick to routine as much as possible but hard because we are going out and doing stuff.  Wishing everyone sleep-filled nights and nap-filled days!!!

I am over this teething crap.   Geez, to think my LO has another 30 teeth to get in too.   UGH.   She slept horrible today.  She also decided to wake at 430am and stay awake for an hour.   She had no interest in going back to sleep.   How are you all doing?

Sorry to hear that Richa.   Do you have a white noise machine that you could put in her room?   Anything that would drown out the sound of the firecrackers?
