One wake up at night, normally anywhere between 2 and 3:30 am. I nurse her.
So we have been working on a 3 hr A time for a while and she seems to have been quite happy with that but for some reason she is taking a shorter AM nap, is then cranky for her second A time but also refuses to fall asleep for her second nap after 3 hrs. So I am wondering what to do here. She is always ready for her AM nap and falls asleep immediately without a fuss.
I don't know if she is developing a touch of SA b/c this weekend she woke from her nap and had to cry really loud before my husband finally heard her. She has been difficult ever since then. Also, a couple of times I haven't been home when she has woken up so either my husband or my mother (who is a new person to her) has been getting her up.
She is teething and I give tylenol before naps and bed and redose at night.
She recently learned to roll (about two weeks ago) and, until the past two days, this hasn't affected her sleep.
I am reaching out b/c I know once something happens twice with tjem you have to nip it in the bud. So far, yesterday when she fought her nap I picked her up, fed her some water in another room and tried again and she was fine. This time i picked her up, put her down and sang twinkle twinkle and ended up having to sit with her on the chair and do her whole nap routine over again and then finally she fell asleep but it was horrible. She was crying realy tears which is so unlike her. She rarely cries at all so I don't know what to do.
Is her A time right? How should I deal with nap resistance? PUPD?
Thanks!
