Anyone tandem nursing? Share your experiences
« on: October 23, 2009, 18:13:57 pm »
Hi!  DS1 is 21 mos. and DS2 is almost 3 months.  I'm tandem nursing and would like to hear some experiences from other people -if there are any  8).  Our TN relationship is going well and both babies are happy and I'm happy too.  The hard part I find is when DS1 gets needy and cries for the breast instead of finding other form of consolation  ;D  Love to hear from some people.

I'd love to be able to answer properly, and know several people IRL, though none of them speak English. So I'm bumping you instead and hope somebody else can join in. Tandem feeding is hard work, but a great thing if you've got the determination.

Oh, and btw, it's also a GREAT way of dealing with oversupply with a newborn :-)

Thanks for the reply.... and yes!  no oversupply problems here, which happens to be my case.  I have the pump happily sitting in the closet.  After working and pumping until DS1 was 15 mos. I don't want to see the thing.  LOL  ;D
