yeah, it does sound like hes wanting to only sleep on you, at first it isnt a problem but then he gets to thinking "i really like being this close to Mummy, sleeping here is GOOD!" I know i would like it too!!!!

the thing to do here is to probably knuckle down with Shhh/pat, this is a way to wean him off sleeping with or on you and getting him to sleep independantly. i would do this when you have the support of your DH and have had a decent rest because it can be tiring. the trick is consistancy. I did it and i hated doing it at the time but months later down the track i am SO glad i did, i have a baby that sleeps SO good, it was worth it!
