yeah, it does sound like hes wanting to only sleep on you, at first it isnt a problem but then he gets to thinking "i really like being this close to Mummy, sleeping here is GOOD!" I know i would like it too!!!! :)

the thing to do here is to probably knuckle down with Shhh/pat, this is a way to wean him off sleeping with or on you and getting him to sleep independantly. i would do this when you have the support of your DH and have had a decent rest because it can be tiring. the trick is consistancy. I did it and i hated doing it at the time but months later down the track i am SO glad i did, i have a baby that sleeps SO good, it was worth it!

YAY!!! Jo I did it I did it :) I have tricked my lo three times in a row and got him to sleep from the last cluster feed at 8 to this morning at 6.48am (he didn't take DF) all because I took of my shirt and put it in his bed next to him :) YOu know DH kept saying Lucca like to sleep with us because he can smell us and feel safe, then my syster said the same so I thought i give it a try and it was like giving him sleeping pills....  I'm so rested and he is too and back to being the little angel not grumpy anymore :)
Thank you so much for being so patient with me and for all your advice
:)
